“It was Easter. The kids wore blue. The husband turned old. The end.” – The Husband. I truly just couldn’t get started with this post, but the husband gave some great advice on how to start, so here we are, talking about last weekend. Honestly, though, I’m just going to leave it at that and show you the pictures we took of our sweet kids.
On January 1, 2023, I started my New Year’s resolution of taking a picture of Holden every day for the year. I had the same resolution in 2019, but with Hudson. My goal wasn’t to just take a picture, but to take a picture with an actual camera instead of just my phone (that baby is loaded to the brim with photos).
Brenlee is now 7 months old, so in true blog fashion, here’s our “we had a baby and here’s how it all went down” post for our sweet girl (buckle up, it’s a long one)! I’ve made one for Hudson (here) and Holden (here) and it’s been such a sweet reminder of their births. I love looking back and being reminded of all the small details, so I knew I needed to do one for Brenlee!
Last week we went out and did some family photos (ish). By that I mean, there are pictures of all of us, just not all of us together. As the boys are getting older, it’s harder to snag a photo with the tripod (okay we’ve really only done that once).
Is it just me, or is the end of “summer” really busy?! We’ve had so much going on the past few weeks between visitors, photo shoots, and baby showers! It’s been a lot of fun, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying some down time now (or as much down time is allowed when having a 4.5 year old and a 7 month old).
