The best friend is going to be here in one week! I repeat, ONE WEEK! I could not be more excited that she is coming to visit us. We have another trip planned for July, but that one is much longer and we will be making our way down to Disney World (when in Florida!). Next weekend is for relaxing and catching up (I also hear margaritas and beach time calling our names)! February it’s Florida, and in March it’s back home to Missouri! We have a girl’s night planned with some of my favorite people, and I’ll be seeing some of my other favorites throughout the week! I’m very excited to get to see everyone and hang out with the family!

In other news, today the husband and I got around to watching Star Wars Episode I, and I’m just going to say, thank goodness we didn’t start with that one. It was the longest of them all (I’m not sure that it actually WAS the longest, but it sure felt like it). I’ve been told it’s the “worst” one out of all of them, (could he not have mentioned that before we started watching?!) which is a relief. Also, in case you were wondering, the name of the Sith Lord would be “Darth Maul” and not “Garth Moore”…whoops (but seriously, that’s what I heard!). Good thing the husband has an excellent sense of humor- we now refer to the guy as “Garth”.

Another thing the husband and I did today was finish our first puzzle together! We went to the book store last weekend and just happened to end up in front of the puzzles. It was a harder decision than I’m sure it had to be to pick one out, but we ended up with the perfect set of four puzzles. I was looking for something that would go well with the decor we have now, because I’d like to frame them and hang them up. I’ll post pictures as we finish them (I’m sure the next one will take longer since the husband is really getting into the school work now). Here’s the first one though- I’m surprised it survived the kitties…
