Ever since Hudson was born, and really even before, I’ve had ideas on different photoshoots I wanted to do with him. One of those was bath sink pictures! Unfortunately, our sink is a little on the small side and wouldn’t have really worked well for the types of pictures I was thinking of.
Fast forward to last Monday when we got to go to a friend’s house and use their gorgeous sink for some photoshoot fun! I promised to take pictures of her little girl in exchange for using her sink (though I’m sure she’d have let me use it anyway)!
We started off by taking pictures of her little one in the bubble bath sink and she LOVED it! After a little bit, we decided to put Hudson in with her. Y’all, he HATED it! It made for some pretty adorable pictures though.
We discovered (after taking them both out), that it was the bubbles he didn’t like. We’ve done bubble baths before, but there’s never been in that many bubbles (and he loves “in the air” bubbles), so I was a little surprised. We cleared the sink out and started over with just water and he had a blast! These pictures turned out exactly how I wanted them to and I’m so pleased!
After taking these pictures, we took the kids to a blueberry and strawberry patch (though in hindsight, we probably should have reversed the order of events). Hudson started out putting the blueberries in the bucket, then he realized that he could eat them!
I think both kids ate their weight in berries! They had such a wonderful time and their little faces showed it! We will definitely be going back to pick some more this summer.
