Last week we went out and did some family photos (ish). By that I mean, there are pictures of all of us, just not all of us together. As the boys are getting older, it’s harder to snag a photo with the tripod (okay we’ve really only done that once).

I have plans to get some family pictures done by another photographer, but as photographers ourselves, it’s sometimes hard to justify it. I know that we realistically won’t be able to snag quality candid photos (my favorite) of the four of us, so we will bite the bullet eventually. For now though, here are some of the gems we captured ourselves!

I love taking photos of the boys and the husband, and for good reason, they’re my favorite subjects. Could they be any more handsome??

It’s been so fun to take pictures of the boys together as they grow older and Holden can do more. I can only imagine how fun it’ll be when he’s standing, walking, running, and the boys are truly playing together. I’ve got some big ideas for photoshoots in the future!

The location of this shoot was inside a tree! I’ve only shot here one other time, but it’s one of my favorite locations. It’s got an air of whimsy to it and I’m sure it won’t be the last time I take the boys here.

Now who thinks I can talk the husband into a photoshoot every month??
