It’s been a crazy past couple of weeks getting everything ready for school, and I’ve started several posts to catch you up on what’s been happening around here, but I obviously didn’t make it very far! The good news is my classroom is all set up now though (minus the pile of school supplies that need to be put away)! I have also officially survived my first two days in 4th grade, and have met both of my classes!
Finding time to blog about the awesome weekend we had is proving to be just a little difficult this week. On Friday, I found out that I’ll be teaching 4th grade (thankfully only reading and writing) instead of 3rd grade this year! I’m thankful I already have friends in the building and that I didn’t have to move my classroom by myself. My “old” classroom (can I even call it that?) was basically in no man’s land on the far end of the building, but my new (and seriously it is new, not just to me, but also pretty new to the building) is RIGHT at the front of the school. I’ve been working on getting everything set up this week, and attending new teacher/grade level meetings. Pictures will come later, I promise!
Remember that one time when I said I was going to be blogging All. The. Time?! Yeah, me either. Good thing I never said that! 
I know I went missing again, but I’m back! I have a good excuse this time, and it doesn’t just consist of me being lazy. The past couple of weeks, I’ve been in Missouri/Kansas/Illinois! As you might have guessed, it was pretty awesome.
Did you know there are so many beautiful gems in Florida, not including the beautiful, white sandy beaches? One of those gems just happens to be an hour and a half drive from where we live!
Wow you guys! It’s been quite some time since I’ve written on the blog… I didn’t mean to let it go this long, but you know, life happens (i.e. it’s summer and I’ve been relaxing)! For the most part, things have been pretty calm around here, so I’ll just catch you up on some of the things we’ve been up to!
