To say this blog has taken a seat on the back burner is an understatement. So many things have happened in the last year, the biggest of those being the arrival of our baby boy, Holden at the end of January! In the spirit of being fair (I don’t want to be accused of having a favorite), I decided to share Holden’s birth story, like I did here with Hudson’s.

Do you ever wish time would just freeze? That you could soak in these days forever? That’s where I’m at in life right now with my sweet baby turning 3. Sure, I also wish we could bypass all of those big toddler feelings (the not so fun ones), but then I’m also aware I’d be missing the big toddler feelings that result in tight hugs around the neck, big smooches, uncontrollable giggles, and a whole lot more fun.
Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all! First off, let me just say I had no intention of letting the blog take the back burner for so long, but it is what it is. That said, I’m hoping to be better about it this year! Secondly, I’m going to take today to get a little (maybe a lot) mushy about the husband, because let’s be real, he 100% deserves it!
