Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all! First off, let me just say I had no intention of letting the blog take the back burner for so long, but it is what it is. That said, I’m hoping to be better about it this year! Secondly, I’m going to take today to get a little (maybe a lot) mushy about the husband, because let’s be real, he 100% deserves it!

He deserves to know how much I appreciate him and who he is, and he deserves to know that I have nothing but gratitude for him when he spends a full day/week/month working and turns around to be super dad as soon as he walks in the door.

He deserves to know that I notice all of the things he takes care of around the house (when I’ve already fallen asleep) and he deserves to know how loved I feel when he takes care of our little boy and me.

He deserves to know that I appreciate all of the time and effort he puts in to building things for me and that I appreciate him going along with all my crazy house ideas (that seem to constantly be changing).

He deserves to know how much my heart melts when I see him play with Hudson and how much I appreciate him raising our son to be a true gentleman. He deserves to know that I value his opinion above all others (even when he claims he doesn’t have one) and he deserves to know how smart and funny I think he is.

He deserves to know that I still get butterflies when I see him (helloooo flight suit 😉) and that I think he’s the most handsome man ever. Most importantly though, he deserves to know how much Hudson and I love and cherish him! Happy Valentine’s Day, “The Husband”! We love you!
